The rooms at Rio Hostel in Madrid are a breath of fresh air! With air conditioning to keep you cool in the Spanish heat, you can relax and enjoy your stay. The shared bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests. And to top it off, the coffee machine in the room is a great perk for coffee lovers like myself.
While I loved my stay at Rio Hostel, the only downside for me was the shared bathroom. However, I understand that this is a personal preference and some guests may not mind it at all.

The hostel was an absolute game-changer! The environment was spotlessly clean and had such a cool vibe. The fully equipped kitchen and fridge were a total game-changer, allowing us to make delicious meals and meet awesome people. The staff were incredible, always going above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable stay. They even let us store our bags after check-out so we could squeeze in some extra adventures. From the express check-in to the 24-hour security, this place had it all. Highly recommend for budget travelers!

The Rio Hostel in Madrid was conveniently located near the airport, making it a great option for a transit stay during my travel. The nearest airport, Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas, was just 16 km away, allowing for a quick and easy journey. the hostel was also close to the Usera neighborhood, making it easy to explore and experience the local culture during my short stay.
While the Rio Hostel offered a convenient location, there were some drawbacks during my stay. One minor negative feature was the lack of information provided about the shared accommodation.

During my Easter break, I had a pleasant stay at a hostel in the heart of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure that everything was clean and well-maintained. They even allowed us to store our bags after check-out, letting us explore more before our flight. I also appreciated the fact that the room was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a reliable internet connection.
There were a couple of drawbacks that affected my overall experience. the hostel did not mention that the rooms would be shared with a large number of people, which made it quite noisy and difficult to sleep.
